On Sunday, March 23, NALC branches across the country came together for “Fight Like Hell!”, a nationwide day of action to stand against privatization and defend our postal service. Across more than 210 local rallies, letter carriers rallied with one message: “Hands off USPS!”

Branch 272 joined the action in solidarity with fellow letter carriers, stepping up at our rally location in Bedminster to show that protecting our members, communities, and the integrity of the USPS is paramount. We carried signs, spoke with senator Mikie Sherrill and demonstrated our unity with the wider labor movement against the privatization of one of our country's oldest and most reliable institutions.
This day of action wasn’t just symbolic—it was a powerful protest rooted in real concerns: potential privatization, threats to our contract, and attacks on letter carrier safety and benefits. As NALC President Brian L. Renfroe put it, “We’re ready to fight like hell” for a fair contract, strong healthcare and retirement benefits, and protection from service cuts.

Branch 272 is proud to stand with letter carriers nationwide. We won’t back down—and we certainly won’t let up until our USPS remains strong, public, and truly in service of our communities.
